Apricogs, the Create x Cobblemon addon, wiki

FAQ

Do I need to know Create?

Yes, a little. You should know the basics of Create: how to power a machine with rotation, and how to move items and fluids between machines (belts, depots, basins, spouts). You do not need advanced contraptions. JEI shows every recipe step by step, and this wiki explains the steps that are specific to Apricogs.

Where do I start with Poke Balls?

Cut a bottom from a copper sheet and a lid from a red Apricorn, join them, fit a modern mechanism, then fit a Simple stencil and paint with red aprijuice. The full line is in Poke Balls.

How do I get a stencil?

Compress an iron (or zinc) plate with the matching Cobblemon ball in a Basin under a Mechanical Press. You need one real ball of that kind, crafted the normal Cobblemon way.

Does a stencil run out?

It wears out slowly (2048 uses) and is not used up each time. At the crafting table it comes back with one use less.

Can I use zinc instead of iron?

Yes, for the stencils and for the bottoms of tier 2 balls (Great Ball and similar). See the tier table in Poke Balls.

What is aprijuice?

The liquid paint of the balls, made from an Apricorn and water in a Mechanical Mixer. It is not the same item as Cobblemon's aprijuice food, which is made in Food and Seasonings.

I made a ball with the wrong lid color. Can I fix it?

Yes. Wash the shell in an Encased Fan to get a plain lid, or repaint it with 750 mB of aprijuice. Or saw it apart and use another lid.

Can I get a ball back to an earlier stage?

Yes. Wash a finished ball to get the unpainted ball, and saw it to get the bottom, lid and mechanism. The stencil is not given back when you saw. See Poke Balls.

Why can I not wash a Cherish Ball?

The Ancient Origin Ball has no recipe to go back, see Special Balls.

Do I have to use the machines? Can I craft everything at a crafting table?

Every deployer step of the ball line has a crafting table version. The painting steps still need aprijuice, except for the one color balls. See Poke Balls.

My potion recipe does not work.

Potions, status heals, ether and elixir need a heated Mechanical Mixer: a Blaze Burner under the Basin. Vitamins do not need heat, Molten Exp. Candy needs it superheated. See Potions and Vitamins.

How many bottles does a liquid fill?

1000 mB fills 4 bottles of potion, status heal, ether, elixir or Medicinal Brew, and 1 bottle of a vitamin.

Where is the configuration file?

config/apricogs-common.toml. See Configuration.

Does it work on a server?

Yes, install it on both the server and the clients.

Why do I not see the Mega Showdown recipes?

They only exist when Cobblemon: Mega Showdown is installed. See Compatibility.

Does a harvester break Cobblemon berry bushes?

No. Create's Mechanical Harvester, and the one of Create: Enchantable Machinery, pick the berries and leave the bush alive. See Machines and Automation.

Can I burn Molten Exp. Candy in a Blaze Burner?

Yes, a bucket of it is a superheated fuel, used on the burner like a blaze cake. See Candies and Feathers.

Can a mechanical arm load a TM machine?

Yes, and a data monitor and a disc shelf too. See Machines and Automation.
