Origin Ore
Origin Ore is the mineral of Pokemon Legends: Arceus that the Origin Ball is made from. In Apricogs it is an ore you mine, melt and alloy like netherite. Its ingot makes the Origin Ball Lid, the lid of the Ancient Origin Ball (the Cherish Ball does not use it), see Special Balls.

How rare it is can be changed in the configuration. All of them can only be mined with a netherite pickaxe (or a tool of the netherite tier or above), or with a Stratus pickaxe (Deep Aether) or a Warden pickaxe (Deeper and Darker). They drop 1 to 3 Raw Origin Ore (Fortune works) and, with Silk Touch, themselves. A Create drill does not break them, nothing but a pickaxe does. The ores of the other mods only exist when that mod is installed.
Gholdengo coated in origin
A Gimmighoul takes the items you give it as points, like Cobblemon does for coins and netherite: Origin Shards are 1 point, an Origin Ingot 4 and a Block of Origin 36, up to 255. A Gimmighoul with 999 coins, 255 points of netherite (netherite scrap) and 255 origin shards that evolves (by leveling up) gets an extra choice in the evolution menu next to the gold and netherite ones of Cobblemon: a Gholdengo coated in origin: a strong red coating, the copper lines of the body turned to the dark grey of netherite. A shiny Gholdengo coated in origin wears the purple of the Master Ball with silver lines. The Origin bar of the Gimmighoul summary uses origin shards instead of the scrap shapes of Cobblemon.
From ore to ingot
Like netherite, it takes two steps:
- Smelt a Raw Origin Ore, or the ore block itself, in a furnace or a blast furnace, like an iron ore, to get an Origin Shard.
- In a superheated Mechanical Mixer, alloy 4 Origin Shards, 2 Netherite Scrap and a Tumblestone, a Sky Tumblestone and a Black Tumblestone into an Origin Ingot.
Nine Origin Nuggets make an Origin Ingot and back, and nine Origin Ingots make a Block of Origin and back. Nine Raw Origin Ore make a Block of Raw Origin and back.
An Origin Ingot is also a material for armor trims, and a beacon payment. The Block of Origin works as a beacon base.
The ores carry the common tags (c:ores, c:ores/origin, the tags of stone, deepslate and netherrack ores) and the blocks and items the tags of storage blocks, ingots, nuggets and raw materials, so other mods can use them.
Armor trims
The origin trim works with every pattern of armor trim that is in the game: the vanilla ones, the card patterns of Create and the Automaton pattern of Cobblemon, and with the smithing templates of those mods. In the inventory the item of a trimmed armor does not show the trim, the worn armor does: a custom trim material has no icon in the inventory, which is a limit of the game.
The block of origin and its shapes
The shapes are cut from the Block of Raw Origin, in the red of the Origin Ball, like the Exp. Candy blocks are cut from the candy block:

The stonecutter cuts every block into the shapes that come after it.
The origin ball lid
An Origin Ingot under a Mechanical Press makes an Origin Ball Lid. It is the lid of the Ancient Origin Ball, and filled with 500 mB of pink aprijuice it becomes a Master Ball Lid. The Cherish Ball does not use it.
