Special Balls
These balls break the usual pattern of the assembly line: Master, Beast, Cherish, the ancient balls and the Ancient Origin Ball.
Master Ball
The top tier of the line. You need a real Master Ball (made once with Cobblemon's own recipe) to make the stencil.
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| Bottom | Saw a netherite ingot into 6 netherite bottoms |
| Shell and armed shell | Join the bottom with any lid, then fit a modern mechanism, as for any ball |
| Unpainted ball | Deploy the Master Ball stencil on the armed shell |
| Finish | Sequenced assembly: 500 mB of pink aprijuice, then the Master Ball Lid, then a press |
The Master Ball Lid is a rare part: a shulker shell under a Mechanical Press (1 lid) or under a Mechanical Saw (2 lids), or an Origin Ball Lid that is filled with 500 mB of pink aprijuice. The color of the first lid does not matter.

Beast Ball
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| Bottom | Brass |
| Unpainted ball | Armed brass shell and the Beast Ball stencil |
| Finish | Sequenced assembly: an echo shard, then a gold nugget. No paint is needed |

Cherish Ball
The Cherish Ball can be built from the parts, or with its own stencil like the other balls. From the parts it is one sequenced assembly on a brass bottom:
- Deploy a plain ball lid.
- Deploy a modern mechanism.
- Pour 1000 mB of red aprijuice.
- Press.
A red ball lid works too, and then the red aprijuice is only 500 mB.
With the stencil: a basin presses an iron sheet and a Cherish Ball into the Cherish Ball Stencil. A brass armed shell with the stencil gives an unpainted Cherish Ball (the lid of the shell is remembered), which is finished with 1000 mB of red aprijuice, or at once when the lid of the shell is already red.

Ancient balls and tumblestones
Ancient balls use tumblestones instead of Apricorn lids.
- Saw a Tumblestone, Sky Tumblestone or Black Tumblestone into 2 plates.
- Press a plate to get an ancient lid of the same type.
- Use that lid with a bottom to make an ancient shell, then fit an ancient mechanism.
- Fit the stencil and paint the ball with two colors of 250 mB each.
The type of tumblestone is fixed by the ball. The full list of ancient balls, their metal, their lid and their paint is in Poke Balls.

Ancient Origin Ball
No stencil and no paint. On a netherite bottom, the tier 5 one like the Master Ball, a sequenced assembly deploys an origin lid and an ancient mechanism, then presses. The same three parts also make it at the crafting table, in any order. The origin lid is made from the Origin Ingot of the Origin Ore: an Origin Ingot under a Mechanical Press makes an Origin Ball Lid. The Cherish Ball does not use it, only the Ancient Origin Ball does.

Washing and sawing
The Master, Beast and ancient balls can be washed back to their unpainted stage and sawed apart, like the others. The Cherish Ball can too, since it has a stencil. The Ancient Origin Ball cannot: it has no recipe to go back.
